For almost 20 years and with more than 50 vendors, the Bulkley Valley Farmers’ Market offers the widest array of fresh local produce and meats; craft breads and tempting baked goods; artisan cheeses; unique, eclectic, and tantalizing artisan and craft wares in northern BC – all made, baked or grown locally by our vendors. Enjoy a fresh baked treat, sip on a coffee or beverage, and listen to local musicians while discovering all sorts of fresh food and crafts. Come out and meet your neighbours!
Public Transit to the Market:
Smithers Transit now provides 4 round trips on Saturday between Telkwa and Smithers and two of those trips arrive during Market hours:
#1 leaves Woodland Park in Telkwa at 9:00 a.m. and arrives in Smithers around 9:20 a.m.
#2 leaves Woodland Park in Telkwa at 10:50 a.m. and arrives in Smithers around 11:10 a.m.

There is ample free parking for several blocks on all sides of the outdoor Market. We have set aside parking for seniors and those with mobility issues right beside the main entrance. There is also a temporary parking space set aside at the entrance so that you can easily load large purchases.
Credit/Debit Cards & ATMs:
While most vendors are only set up for cash, several now also have “Square” and welcome payments by Visa or Mastercard. There are two ATMs within three blocks of the outdoor Market. We are not able to accept debit cards at this time.
